Did you know that around a dozen Christians are murdered every day simply because of their faith?

Christianity is the world’s most persecuted religion, yet much of the Western world remains unaware of this reality or responds with indifference.

Over the past decade, Hungary stood as a rare exception, supporting persecuted Christian communities around the world through aid and advocacy. These efforts saved the lives or eased the suffering of around three million people and inspired similar initiatives in the United States and across Europe.

Following the abolition of Hungary’s State Secretariat for the Aid of Persecuted Christians, millions under attack can no longer rely on the support they once received. Who is going to answer their cry for help?

At the Axioma Center, we are determined to continue this mission. As Director of Aid for Persecuted Christians, I am carrying forward the intellectual legacy and core activities of the former Secretariat, standing with our suffering brothers and sisters in Christ who need our help the most.

The Persecution of Christians at a Glance

Christianity is the most widely persecuted religion in the world, both in terms of sheer numbers of individuals affected and the number of countries where the faithful suffer for professing the name of Jesus.

The Axioma Center for Persecuted Christians (CPC) has been launched as part of the Axioma Center. The new center carries forward, within a civil society framework, Hungary’s legacy of standing up for persecuted Christians around the world.

What does this mean in practice, and what goals are guiding the Center’s work? Tristan Azbej explains the mission and objectives of the CPC in this video.
