2025. September 30.
Among the most concerning developments in the Western world are the breakdown of families and the sharp decline in fertility rates. In response to these challenges, an increasing number of right-leaning political parties are placing the issue of families at the forefront of their agendas and implementing family policy measures. In this turbulent period, it is equally important for Christians to articulate their position, in order to effectively promote Christian values both individually and at the societal level.

The Axioma Center, on this basis, has prepared the study Family and Family Policy in Hungary: A Christian Integrative Perspective, presented in collaboration with the Danube Institute. Following a brief welcome and an introduction to the volume, expert researchers will discuss the direction of Hungarian family policy, its outcomes and ongoing challenges, as well as the foundational principles for building a genuinely family-friendly society. The event aims to foster dialogue on the significance, role, situation, and support of the family—particularly from a Christian integrative perspective, which seeks to combine value-based thinking with careful attention to social realities.
