Description
Throughout history, there have always been outstanding and eloquent defenders of the Christian faith. Today, however, as we face the challenges posed by the new atheism, there is a growing need for a fresh and flexible approach to apologetics. Alister E. McGrath presents methods that engage not only the mind, but also the heart and the imagination.
Rather than attempting to cover everything there is to know about the art and discipline of apologetics, McGrath argues that there are many effective ways to share the Christian faith – through explanations, arguments, stories, and images. Each of us must develop our own apologetic toolkit and learn to identify the points of connection that resonate with our audience.
His accessible, logically structured, and practical guide helps readers do exactly that, showing how the apologist can communicate the Good News with wisdom, elegance, and effectiveness.
